What's on #1: whisky tasting (€25) Michele Chiarini, Scotch Whisky Ambassador hosts the tasting event with: - Caol Ila Moch - An absolutely straightforward, no nonsense Caol Ila. Crisp, assertive, direct and unmistakable. Rated: ****; - Tomintoul Peaty Tang - made with peated malt barley to give it a deep smoky flavour. Rated: 94/100; - Glen Grant 16 Years Old - the 16 Year Old has an abundance of Glen Grant fresh orchard fruit with a complex and intense finish. Rated: 81/100; - Cardhu 18 Years Old - rich in body, yet still full of delicate Cardhu character - Rated: 95/100. To experience and enjoy the Whisky at its best it will be tasted with dark chocolate, Scotch shortbreads and blue cheese. What's on #2: whisky tasting and "Peposo" stew dinner (€45) The "Peposo" is a traditional, peppery, Tuscan stew. We'll serve a very special, refreshed recipe of the Peposo along with sheep cheese, Piedmont cheese, pinzimonio veggies and roasted bread. The great Pratesi Carmignano wines will match the Peposo!
